THOMAS ROEBUCK (op. 1810 - 1860)
Thomas Roebuck is an English born naïve artist believed to have lived and worked in the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire area within the Midlands.
Unfortunately, there is little information on this provincial artist however, his body of work identifies that Thomas specialised in painting farming animals and occasionally produced dog paintings.
The naive painting below by Thomas Roebuck , depicts the beast (Bull) standing in the field, close to a barn door.
