FRANK BABBAGE (1858 - 1916)

Frank Babbage was an animal painter and wood engraver who specialised in the portraiture of farming cattle and horses as well as sporting subjects which included fox hunting and racing.

Frank was well known in his field for the many illustrations he produced for the Livestock Journal and the Shire Stud Book during it’s early years.
