This stupendous creature for height and length far exceeds any of this species ever yet seen, measuring 9 feet 10 inches long, 8 feet round the body, stands 12.5 hands high, is 4 years old and weighs 1344ibs or 160 stone 8ibs to the stone or 96 stone 14ibs to the stone and would feed to a much greater weight were he not raised up so often to exhibit his stature.
He has been viewed by the Agricultural Society and the best judges with astonishment and excited the public curiosity so much that the proprietor for admission money to see him in 3 years has received near £3,000.
