Benjamin Marshall

Benjamin Marshall (1767 - 1834) was an English sporting and animal painter. He was a follower of George Stubbs and studied under Lemuel Abbott for a short period of time. After 1792, he began painting animals, settling at Newmarket in 1812 near the racetrack. Some paintings by Artist Benjamin Marshall include:
